Oasis Alaska Charters was our favorite Ketchikan excursion Our family had an amazing time with Oasis Alaska Charters. Our skipper Murray was fun and he took us to the land of big fish and lots of them! All in all we caught 9 salmon on a half day excursion and would have had 12 in total buy my son had trouble reeling a few in and we had to even throw back a few that weren't at length. The highlight of the day was our second to last catch when low and behold a bald eagle tries to steal the salmon that I was reeling in. It was pretty wild, but we managed to get the fish. Thanks Oasis Alaska Charters!

Awesome trip, well worth it! Our family booked a 4 hour charter while in port. Josh was our captain for the day and he was awesome! He had a great eye for seeing when we hooked a fish and knew when it was a good time to try a new spot. We caught 6-7 fish with 2 being large enough to keep (one was just barely a quarter inch under!). We had a great time and made it back to port with plenty of time to spare, we weren't worried about it at all. We loved it just being the 4 of us in our group with Josh and not having to share the boat with a giant/larger group. I only wish we had more time in port to keep fishing!

Well worth it The whole experience was incredible, Hunter our captain was amazing and very professional at everything he did.

Great fishing trip! Loved our charter, had a great time and was so nice to have the boat just for our family. Our guide was great and made sure everyone had a good time and caught plenty of fish (especially the kids). Would recommend them to anyone for a great day of fishing!

Hunter Is a Fishing Fool! Booked a 6 hour charter with Hunter. Super cool guy that lives to fish! We didn't have our lines out 3 minutes and we had a triple of salmon on. Trolled until the tide was right then anchored for the halibut bite. Ended up with 19 keepers and threw back at least that many sub legal fish. I've fished all over the world and this young man will get you on the fish. You will not be disappointed with this outfit!

Only Way to Fish in KTN My family and I had an amazing experience with Oasis! My mother grew up salmon fishing in the Northwest during the hay days of fishing and had very high expectations. Oasis exceeded even her's. Our two day charter delivered. We brought home nearly 35 fish - salmon, halibut and cod. Keeping the poles in the water means we got more fish. Their primary guide - Mike -- has nearly 11 years up here and even on a day others came in skunked - we came up with a lot of fish. // LocationClover pass is a perfect location. It's only a short 20 minute drive out of town. The best part: They have the best fish processing stand in KTN. They ship all you fish - however you want it -- directly to your door. And, we had a super complicated shipping / distribution need and they were very sweet to help. // OperatorsMark and Joann run a great operation. All around best experience ever everything about this trip was amazing! From JoAnn helping with the arrangements and shuttle, to Captain Murray putting us on all the fish! The weather was sunny all day, and if the fish weren't biting immediately, he took us to a spot where they did. We had 6 people and our friends were on another boat with 5 ppl. We beat them, with a whopping 28 salmon!! The processing was easy and 120 pounds of salmon showed up on my doorstep the day after we returned to Austin. We will all be back (a couple of us wanted to stay). Thanks again!

Not a very good experience! Oasis Fishing Charters Review – July 18, 2024 Reviews like this are not easy to write, it is not my intent to damage the reputation of a company or captain, but it is also necessary to let other potential customers know of our experience. Chartering a salmon fishing boat is often a once in a lifetime opportunity so choosing an outfitter is an important decision. We scheduled a 4 hour, private salmon fishing charter for 4 people in mid July. The communication with the company during the reservation process and leading up to the day of the charter was outstanding. They replied to emails quickly and always answered our questions. We also scheduled our transportation from the cruise ship dock to the charter boat through Oasis and that was a good experience. Mel was our shuttle driver, and he was pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. This was the best part of our day. He arrived at the cruise ship on time, delivered us to the boat, was waiting for us after the charter, and returned us to the cruise ship on time. When we arrived at the dock our charter captain took us to the boat. Our captain was pleasant and knowledgeable about fishing, but he wasn’t a good host or instructor. The captain did not have a deck hand and was responsible for all aspects of the charter. We were given no introduction or any type of instruction to make our day enjoyable. The boat was small for 4 people, both in the cabin and on the deck and we had to figure out where to stand and what to do on our own. We only had two rods in the water most of the time for four people but there wasn’t enough room on the boat for more than two active rods. I would like to think that there were life jackets on the boat for all of us, but we were never made aware of where they might have been stored. We were told that drinking water would be available on the charter and the captain helped himself to a bottle of water, but we were never offered any water. There was a box of snacks on the cabin table, but we were never offered any. The web site states that there is a bathroom on the boat, and we did see a toilet but we had no idea if we could use it or how to use it if needed. Our captain smoked on the boat and chewed tobacco as well. He was spitting off the side of the boat and he had a spit bottle he used in the cabin of the boat. He only smoked one cigarette but chewed tobacco throughout the trip. Our captain answered question when asked, but he didn’t really seem interested in providing a good experience for us. I think he just wanted to get the 4 hours over with. We did catch a few fish but had to quiz our captain on what kind of fish we were catching and how to identify the different species of salmon. He was quick at the end of the cruise to make sure he received payment! In my opinion, I would consider a different Salmon Charter.

Oasis Alaskan Charters….One Class Act While on an Alaskan family cruise, we had a very abbreviated stop over in Ketchikan. Unable to book 5 family members on fishing excursion so we went freestyle. Found Oasis Alaskan Charters online and read reviews. Claimed to be 5 star operation so we booked a private charter for just our family.
From the time we got off to the got back on the cruise ship, Oasis demonstrated they were, in fact, a class act. We were picked up at the pier in a private shuttle at the appointed time, taken directly to the chartered fishing boat, introduced to our captain, Bert, then loaded onto the boat and headed out to do some bucket list salmon fishing. We booked a 4 hour charter as we had to be back to the ship 4-1/2 hours after docking. We didn’t think we were going to get anywhere close to 4 hours of fishing but I will tell you, we got pretty close to that but still got back to the marina by 11:00 am.
While fishing, Bert masterfully navigated the boat around both recreational and commercial salmon fishermen while skillfully managing the rigging of 3 fishing poles. Between the 3 fishermen, we caught 13 good sized silver salmon (largest 12 lbs) during the allotted time. Several more were hooked but lost during recovery. A beautiful day to be in the water for sure.
After returning to the dock, Bert unloaded the salmon for us and hung them up for a photo opportunity. He also has explained to us about the procedure and cost for keeping salmon for personal consumption.
The shuttle ride back to the ship was as good as the pickup and we were back at the ship at the appointed embarkation time.
Oasis Alaska Charters is in complete tune with the cruise ship industry and knows how to maximize your time on the water without being concerned about missing your cruise ship.
This company is a class act all the way and I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to fish in Ketchikan AK.

The Captains, Matt and Murray, are extremely qualified anglers and get you on some incredible fishing. Their skills ensured everyone on-board experienced what Alaska salmon fishing should be. Will fish with Alaskan Oasis Charters again We flew from Tampa, Fl for 3 days of fishing. We made all our own arrangements, but Mark was very helpful with information about the Ketchikan area. We fished with Capt. Drew who is very knowledgable and helpful, a solid guide. We fished Tue 6hrs for Salmon and Halibut. Limited out on both. Fished Wed for 4hrs and limited on Salmon. Thur was a tough 4hrs targeting Halibut in the same location where we caught them on Tue. Cape Drew worked hard for us and we ended the day jigging a couple more Salmon.

Alaska at it's best The hospitality that was shown to our group the two days we were fishing was amazing. The whole Oasis staff was extremely catering and helpful to our group. From the time we arrived until we had to leave, great lengths were taken to ensure our time was nothing short of the best. Shout out to Capt Chris and Capt Murray. If you're gonna go, request one of those guys!!

Once we arrived at the marina we met Captain Hunter, and we were off. The boat was comfortable and well equipped. Hunter explained what we were going to be doing and took us to our fishing spot.

Al 5 of us had the opportunity to catch fish and we hooked several including 2 large King Salmon. It was a highlight of our Alaska trip and all due to the hospitality and expertise of Hunter and their team.

When we got back we were met at the dock by the processors and look forward to receiving our salmon this week.

Good captain I am kind of hesitant to write a review. The captain was good and the boats are great and the gear is fine. I understand that some days the fishing is not fantastic and weather can play a part that is out of control. It was a windy day so they couldn’t take us out to the halibut grounds they wanted to so we fished for them in an area our captain said he hadn’t finished before. The fishing was slow so it ended up being a $1200 boat ride for a 7 lb halibut. I kinda wish they had canceled our trip if the weather is such that they can’t get you to productive water. The captain did his best but I do wish they had been more realistic about what to expect and canceled our trip.

Customer event We have for the past few years worked with Oasis for our Alaska customer fishing trip. Mark, Joanne and their boat captains have been wonderful for us and have accommodated all of our requests. The fishing was wonderful again and our freezers are all full of Salmon, Halibut and Yellow Eye. We'll definitely be back!

Great day fishing with some buddies Went on an all day charter with 2 friends all in our early 20's. Captain was Matt and he was an awesome dude. Told us all the ins and outs of Ketchikan, and had some crazy stories to go along with it! We caught only bottom fish but it was early so the salmon were not running yet. Highly recommend Oasis for an all day Charter, well worth the money and a super fun experience. Overall, I'd definitely swipe right.

dissapointed We selected our trip due to the reviews on Captain Mike, to our surprise we did not have Capt. Mike, but rather a 20 something female. Our anchor got stuck, therefore were limited as to moving the boat. On our check out slip due to these issues we were told and it was written that our captain was going to throw some halibut in with our package home. Thus, I thought we were generous with our tip. When the fish arrived there was no halibut. The fillets from the Red Rock we caught were smaller than some farm pond crappie we catch. Overall, I am not disappointed in the amount of fish we caught, as it did not appear anyone caught many fish that day. (That is how fishing goes). If you book with Oasis, I would suggest you ask for the captain that the reviews are written for. When a couple of old guys go fishing, we are not looking for a young female captain. I can not recommend Oasis.

Grand Slam Oasis Alaska Charters!!! Captain Desmond provided the two of us with the experience of a lifetime. I highly recommend being on a smaller boat which gives you a 360* view of the stunning islands of Alaska. I saw the best whale bubble feeding view which lasted hours. So sooo cool! They came 20’ from the boat. I feel very few people get that experience and is something I will never forget.
Captain Desmond is very knowledgeable of where to catch the fish and we went to private areas not widely known by the other charter boats. He had the boat ready to go so we stepped in and we were off. The boat is very clean and easy to move around. The inside has a bathroom and an area to sit down if you need a break from the countless fish you’re gonna catch!
All of their boats are great depending on what you want to fish for. Special thanks to owners Joanne and Mark for delivering a fabulous Labor Day weekend fishing adventure!!!

Great charter Murray was a great guide, he understood the water even though the Halibut were not biting we had plenty of action from other bottom fish.

Great charter fishing experience Message: I just wanted to tell you guys what a fun time we had on our charter. Murray is a great guy to be sent out with and really works hard to make the trip a great one. He certainly did for us. The boat you use is really nice and is perfect for four. We hope to do this again next year, our friend from Germany had a trip of a lifetime unlike anything you could do there. Successful Salmon Fishing Excursion We arrived in Ketchikan on a Holland America cruise ship and had only 7.5 hrs. in port. We called Oasis Alaska Charters and spoke to Joanne, who helped us book a 6-hour private salmon fishing trip tailored to our ship's arrival and departure in port. We paid a small fee for their shuttle service between the ship's gangway exit and boat dock (both ways). Our shuttle service (provided by Oasis) went smoothly even though we were delayed 30 minutes getting into port and off the ship. We received texts and a phone call letting us know that our ship's arrival and our disembarkation was being monitored, which made our transportation experience as stress-less as possible. Hunter was our fishing boat captain. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and skilled at finding the right spots to fish. Within 1.5 hours we had almost maxed out our fishing limit of pink salmon. Once still we had reached our limit, Hunter asked if we wanted to fish for sea bass. We had lots of time, so we readily agreed. Hunter taught us the technique for fishing for sea bass, and within 1.5 hours we had reached our limit of sea bass. We noticed some eagles perched on treetops along the coast. Hunter showed us a cool trick for enticing the eagles to the boat. We caught a rockfish and reeled it up quickly to stun the fish (it got the "bends"). Once unhooked from the line, Hunter tossed the rockfish overboard. It was alive and floating on the surface. Within seconds, two eagles launched from shore. The first eagle made two dive passes before grabbing the fish in its talons on the third pass. It made for an excellent video to share with friends and family. Upon our request, Hunter took us to see an active eagle's nest. My buddy and I were extremely happy with our fishing trip/experience with Hunter/Oasis Alaska Charters. We HIGHLY recommend Oasis Alaska Charters. We will definitely charter another fishing trip with Oasis next time we are in Ketchikan. Thank you Hunter and Joanne!

Great fishing expereience! We had the BEST fishing charter experience we have ever had on a charter! Salmon and Halibut fishing I took my 2 teenager kids. As promised it was a private tour. Captain was really nice and accommodated our request to try both Salmon and Halibut fishing. We caught both salmon and Halibut.

Reliable, honest , professional, hard working I had a pleasure dealing with Mark and Joann planning our day in Ketchikan during our cruise. To start with, they informed me that we couldn’t keep any of the King salmon that we catch because of state regulations. So, they agreed to take us bottom fishing, which is normally more expensive. Then, they also honored the coupon that came out after i made my reservation. I communicated with them via email and phone, and the response was always prompt. When we arrived, everything was exactly how it was described on their website. We were met by Captain Thomas, who couldn’t be more accommodating and patient with our sons. We caught and released one King salmon and then caught a bunch of Rock Fish. Again, there was not a hint of irritation when my son asked him the same question for the 100th time. Thomas is very patient and knowledgeable on many types of fish. He tried to find the best location for fishing. On the way back, we saw some bold eagles but not any other wild life. But, that’s just luck. I would not hesitate using this company again, and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Captain Drew Does It Again! Captain Drew was very knowledgeable and knew where the fish were! We maxed out on the quantity of salmon we could catch per day (6) in 2 hours which was awesome!

Great Charter For The Family Went out for a 4 hour trip one day and a full day a couple days later on a recent trip to Ketchikan. Captain Murray was great. Fishing was slow, but he still managed to get us into fish both trips. He even gave us a little whale watching tour when he spotted some as we were just starting out. Almost I understand Oasis cannot control the weather. They could however warn you ahead of time that conditions are not favorable and give you a chance to cancel or re-book. It was only after we left the dock that I was told the we could not fish for halibut. And that salmon are very tough to catch in the windy rainy weather.So I spent $700 to catch ONE fish.And the snaks were a couple tiny bags of chips.Very disappointing.

Great all around trip My son and I went on a four halibut trip. We were fishing within fifteen minutes of leaving the dock. The boat had everything we needed and the captain and crew were extremely friendly and helpful. It was an awesome experience! The Clover Pass crew made it easy to process our fish and ship them home. Fantastic Charter!!! We booked this charter very last minute, and Oasis was super nice and accommodating. They were quick to communicate and really attentive. We went out in the morning with Captain Hunter who was wonderful. He helped us max out our salmon limits (other boats were not catching as much as us based on what we heard and saw) and was great to talk to (we asked a million questions and he was patient answering them all). I was a little concerned about doing an excursion that was not associated with the cruise we were on, but this was our favorite activity of our cruise trip! Oasis Alaska was waiting for us when we got off the ship (I received an email and text telling me he was there) in a big white van with the Oasis logo on the side. We arrived about 30 minutes early, and got right on the boat early. Captain Murray took us right to a spot and we were fishing within 20 minutes. We started catching fish right away and continued to catch a variety of fish throughout the entire trip. After we got back to the dock, the processing was also very easy. They got us back to the cruise ship with time to spare.

Great fishing We fished for 2 full days caught halibut and pinks and a couple silvers the first day and the second we caught 2 keeper kings and had to return 6 more they were not big enough. We caught rock fish and a load of pinks. Beautiful scenery great captain Chris we highly recommend Oasis fishing charters

Great time even without catching fish We booked with Oasis Charters prior to our cruise because we really wanted to go out fishing and there was not any excursions on our cruise that had that as an option. From the minute I called Oasis Charters I was in contact with Mark one of the owners. Mark was very honest about the odds were not good for catching halibut during the time of year we were going and so we chose to go salmon fishing instead. Mark and his wife led our boat and were very nice and helpful, even taking my daughter back to shore when she got sick. The motion on the boat is pretty intense if you've never been out on the ocean in a small boat expect to take time to adjust to the movement. We went out for a few hours but did not catch any salmon to take home. My son had one on his line, but it looked to small to keep and he lost it right at the boat. Mark was in frequent contact with the other boat in their fleet as they were catching an abundance of salmon. We switched our depth and were using the same bait but had no luck. We left a little disappointed that we didn't catch anything, but were very pleased with the charter itself. This is a great trust worthy company I would highly recommend. The boat dock is easy to access via a taxi both ways from the pier. The boat had a restroom on board and there was bathroom facilities at the building near the dock.

Last Minute Charter- June 12 Excellent trip with Captain Murray. Caught our limit of halibut, rockfish, and lingcod.

Called when we got to Ketch and they had a 6 hour afternoon spot. It was a perfect time of day for us and it worked out great.

My only word of advice is if YOU'RE NOT staying at the Clover Pass Resort and YOU'RE NOT already booked through a cruise ship make arrangements to hire a taxi, or ride the bus when it's running with enough time to make your trip. We were NOT On a cruise ship so it took a little more coordination on our part to get out to Clover Pass resort on our end BUT nothing that would preclude us from booking again or hinder you from getting there.

Excellent private excursion during port of call Booked a halibut fishing charter for a port of call during a cruise trip. The shuttle was prompt, clean, and fast and we were on the boat minutes after our arrival.

Captain was friendly and knowledgeable and had us on the fish we were looking for. As an added bonus he helped us spot the whales and eagles in the area. Great trip with Oasis!

Waste of time and money. The staff as well as the Captain were very helpful and pleasant. We were picked up a little later than expected and didn’t leave the dock until 12:15. Out charter had to leave an hour early to make the ship and there was no consideration given to the cost. Our boat captain took us out too a place he had never fished and said he wanted to try it out. When nothing was happening he took us to another spot that he said he always wanted to fish but never had. If he is a professional than way try spots with paying client that never have been tried. For my group it was a huge disappointment and waste of money.

Outstanding Fishing and Fun in Ketchikan My son and I had a terrific time with Captain Mike. He really is a pleasure to fish with. His focus was always on getting us fish, and he tried different locations, flashers, depths and bait to help us do the best we could. We were thrilled to catch salmon, halibut and cod with him. He works hard to put you on fish, unlike some charters that stay closer to the marina. It was a real pleasure to talk to with him as we enjoyed two wonderful days fishing. We'll be back.

Halibut Fishing trip Fishing was a little slow but the entire trip was excellent. Fishing guide Chris D'Amico was GREAT. The scenery was breathtaking. Transportation from ship to boat and back to ship was great as well. We are still enjoying the fish we did send back to Colorado from Alaska. I will try and go back again someday.

Way more than just a fishing trip! I'll make this short so it's quick and easy to read. Oasis made our trip easy by answering all our questions about directions, fishing license, etc. Our boat captain, Mike, was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, safe and most important, (b/c fishing is the point of the trip), he made sure we got to catch fish. They warned us that June was the slower of the summer fishing months, but he genuinely wanted us to catch as much as possible and he changed course, he changed bait, if we were in a slow spot, he'd motor somewhere else. We ended up catching halibut, salmon, cod and a rockfish. We signed up for the halibut and salmon 6 hour trip. We were a group of 4 and only 1 of us had fishing experience. It was perfect and we will definitely go back next year.

Great Salmon Fishing experience! My two sons and I had a great experience with Oasis Alaska Charters and captain Drew. It was a slow day but Drew worked constantly to help us find the fish. This was my boys (15 & 21) favorite excursion of our cruise and they had a blast! I would highly recommend the whole crew at Oasis Alaska Charters!

Salmon fishing Our guide, Des was excellent. Very knowledgeable and made our experience very memorable. We caught 12 salmon while out with him.

Fishing in AK The boat was a disappointment for sure. We are in the boat for four hours watching our captain setup the fishing rods and then us waiting for a bite with no place to sit down. There were four of us fishing for $810.00. The seas were very rough so we were continually knocked around. We are all in our late sixties and seventies. My husband was thrown and was bruised the next day. We did catch three salmon and one halibut (that was too long so was released). More

Amazing fishing trip We travelled to Ketchikan for the sole purpose of a once in a lifetime fishing trip. After a full day outing with captain Murray we were more than satisfied. After getting our limits of halibut right away, captain Murray went to work getting us giant lings and limits on black cod as well as salmon and many others. Scenery consisted of plenty of whales , otters and bald eagles. Amazing day!

2nd trip with Oasis and it's still amazing! This was my second fishing trip in a year with Oasis Alaska Charters and I couldn't be happier. Last year I brought family and this year a bunch of friends. We booked out 2 boats for 2 full days of fishing and had a great time. Awesome, Excellent, Fantastic and Action Packed! This was my first time in Alaska and my first time Salmon and Halibut fishing from a boat. I learned a lot very quickly with the help and patience of Captain Murray. I don't have anything else to go off of, but we were the only ones rolling in with full limits. Captain Murray and the well equipped boat, the "Reel Therapy", was the perfect combo. Captain Murray kept in contact with other guides and was always actively looking for the "hot spot". Words can't explain the excitement when the four of us in the group all had salmon on at the same time on two different occasions and we landed them all. Captain Murray was working hard netting all the salmon and sometimes netting two at the same time, incredible! You will not be disappointed with Oasis, they are proactive, work hard and have excellent gear. Thanks for the great experience and we will be back.

Dad fishing with daughters I took my two daughters salmon and rock fishing. The captain was real hands on and gave us the best amount of fishing for our time. We went in July, if I did it again would go in mid August and do the all day. If you do the the all day the well take you to the cape which is a two hour trip, bigger rock fish and enough time to catch more salmon

Hunter Is a Fishing Fool! Booked a 6 hour charter with Hunter. Super cool guy that lives to fish! We didn't have our lines out 3 minutes and we had a triple of salmon on. Trolled until the tide was right then anchored for the halibut bite. Ended up with 19 keepers and threw back at least that many sub legal fish. I've fished all over the world and this young man will get you on the fish. You will not be disappointed with this outfit! …

Fishing on Friday the 13th! We met Capt. Marie earlier than our scheduled time, and she was ready to take us fishing. We began the morning looking for salmon, and found a nice silver. We then went to some deeper water searching for halibut, and got one there too. On the way back, we trolled again for salmon, and got another really nice silver. Marie was very good, knew her stuff, and was quite personable. I would recommend both Oasis and Capt Marie.

Excellent Charter! We chartered the Oasis for my family to take a short 4 hour fishing trip when we visited Ketchikan Alaska! We could not have been more pleased with our charter! Mike was our Captain - he was awesome! We had an excellent time and would definitely recommend Oasis to anyone visiting the area. We only wished we had more time to fish!

Ketchikan 2024 My nephews and I had two wonderful days fishing with Captain Hunter. He is friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. Day 1 we caught our limits of everything. Day 2 caught limits of halibut and rockfish. Kings were a little harder to find, but Hunter worked hard and we caught 2 and lost more. I'm looking forward to next year.

Great fishing trip The Captain worked overtime to catch fish. Boat is roomy and nice. Big cabin to get out of the weather. Picked us up and dropped us off so the whole day was easy. Fish processing right on site.

Last trip of the season 092316 Expected the fishing to be slower this late in the season and only fishing about 4 hours because have to get back to the cruise ship. Fishing was awsome, only went 1/4 mile from slip and only covered one small area which we shared with whales and bald eagles the whole time. We caught 5 fish and had many more bites. If that is slow I will take it any day. We told the lady cab driver we would get her a filet and we did-she was really happy. We didn't ship any fish because would have to have lots more meat to make it worth while. Our captain Mark really knows the fishery up there. I am going to do a full day and target Halibut with him on our next charter. I have my own boat in San Diego and have been fishing bluefin tuna all summer and this was a great change of pace. Best part was I didn't have to clean the boat when we got back to the dock.

A fantastic time in Alaska! We had so much fun, we even caught some fish! Definitely one of the absolute highlights of our Alaskan vacation. The boat was the perfect size. It was just the six of us so there weren’t tons of people trying to fish at one time getting their lines crossed, etc. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to go fishing to book your tour through Oasis Alaska Charters.

Amazing Fishing Trip - Highly recommend - Would definitely book again!!! Hunter (The Predator) was awesome. We caught more salmon than we could have imagined. Can't wait for the salmon to arrive so that we can enjoy it. Our two grandson's and son in law talked about what a great time they had every day during the remainder of the trip. My husband, who could not fish, could not say enough about the experience. We highly recommend this charter. It definitely surpassed any expectations we had.

Catching My boyfriend and I had a great experience with Oasis. Chris our guide was great. We felt appreciated and very secure during our fishing expedition. We caught fish and it was all boxed and ready for the plane ride home. He provided us with more then just fish. We saw eagles and he took us by an island filled with walruses. Something you do not see every day. Where my boyfriend is a good swimmer I am not. Chris made me feel very comfortable out at see. We will be back next summer. A big thank you to Chris and Oasis charters for memories and a lot of fish dinners.

Not a Great Trip! We were greeted by Captain Murray who was very nice and helped us get our fishing licenses. Unfortunately Captain Matt took us fishing. He didn't greet us, didn't explain anything about fishing in Alaska, in fact barely talked to us unless we asked him a question and didn't act like he wanted to be there! Obviously he wasn't feeling well as he was coughing the entire time and unfortunately we both got sick right after our trip with him...would rather had them cancel the trip!! Also Matt told us it would be about $5 a pound to ship the salmon home which in fact ended up being $18 a pound. Maybe with a different guide it would have been a much better experience!

2 Person fishing trip A buddy and I booked a one day trip and got Captain Murray. We had a great time, caught a ton of fish and the trip would have been even better, but we had to catch a flight and cut the day short. We're thinking of going back for an overnight trip to the end of Prince of Wales.

Highly Recommend! This fishing trip was amazing! The boat ride out to the fishing spot was very beautiful and once we were settled, we saw some whales and even had a bald eagle pay us a visit! Hunter was an amazing captain, we caught 3 halibut and even when the biting was slow, Hunter kept us in high spirits - he is super friendly and knowledgeable!

Halibut Fishing 23 May 2019 Boat was well maintained, clean and operated flawlessly in ruff seas. Captain knows fishing period (i have been fishing 60+ years). Enjoyable 4 hours. Boated 3 Halibut - all under 7 pounds, 6 Turbot and a Rat fish - the highlight.

Fabulous Fishing Trip We went out on Reel Therapy for 2 full days of fishing with Captain Murray just a week ago. We had an absolutely amazing time! Cpt. great experience spent 2 1/2 days fishing with Chris - the whole company is first rate - friendly, accommodating, very interested in providing a top notch experience; although we were scheduled for an 8 hour trip we actually fished for over 10 hours as there was no pressure to return at a certain time; willing to go wherever necessary to find fish - plan to go back next year and will definitely use these folks

1/2 day salmon fishing We had a great time fishing with Oasis , fishing was a little slow that day but still managed some nice Salmon , Mel the shuttle driver was a very nice guy and showed up right on time , Mark and Joann were easy to work with for a couple minor changes to our trip , we opted for a private charter rather than sharing time with other cruise guests and was well worth it ! Amazing So glad I found this company to take us fishing while we were in port on a cruise. They were amazing and took us to spots where we would catch hailbut and salmon. We also cought rick fish, black cod and even a shark. For the life of me I can’t remember our captains name but she was a girl! She was amazing. The fish sure kept he busy the whole 4hrs. If I wasn’t pulling one 1 my husband was. She made sure we had an amazing time!!!

Best fishing trip ever I could not have asked for a better fishing charter. They knew that we had a limited amount of time for fishing because we had to get back to our cruise ship, so they did everything they could to get us on the water and fishing asap. We left the dock and were catching fish within 15 minutes. Captain Murray found a honey hole and helped us put 41 fish on ice in about 3 1/2 hours. We had a great time and would happily use Oasis Alaska Charters again. I've already recommended them to several friends.
