Will fish with Alaskan Oasis Charters again We flew from Tampa, Fl for 3 days of fishing. We made all our own arrangements, but Mark was very helpful with information about the Ketchikan area. We fished with Capt. Drew who is very knowledgable and helpful, a solid guide. We fished Tue 6hrs for Salmon and Halibut. Limited out on both. Fished Wed for 4hrs and limited on Salmon. Thur was a tough 4hrs targeting Halibut in the same location where we caught them on Tue. Cape Drew worked hard for us and we ended the day jigging a couple more Salmon.

Awesome We caught our limit of Pink Salmon in about an hour and spent the rest of our time trolling for Kings. A great experience with our guide Hunter!

They genuinely care about their clients and the experience they have and it's obvious they love doing what they do. We were successful even though it was very early in the season and would definitely book with them again.

Awesome Alaskan Fishing Experience We were in Ketchikan with the Disney Cruise (had my 7 year old son with us) and instead of booking with them and getting random people on our boat I booked through Oasis and it was a great decision! We had the boat to ourselves and Capt. Tom was a great guide, we had salmon on the lines within the 1st ten minutes of our trip! Tom was very attentive and knowledgeable about the waters and local information! If you're in Ketchikan and want to get in some good fishing in with the family or friends I highly recommend Oasis Alaska Charters just take a look at the pics!!

Dad fishing with daughters I took my two daughters salmon and rock fishing. The captain was real hands on and gave us the best amount of fishing for our time. We went in July, if I did it again would go in mid August and do the all day. If you do the the all day the well take you to the cape which is a two hour trip, bigger rock fish and enough time to catch more salmon

Great Charter For The Family Went out for a 4 hour trip one day and a full day a couple days later on a recent trip to Ketchikan. Captain Murray was great. Fishing was slow, but he still managed to get us into fish both trips. He even gave us a little whale watching tour when he spotted some as we were just starting out. Highly recommended 4 of us wanted to go halibut fishing in Alaska. None of us really intense anglers but have fished before. 3 younger folks with me..me not so young with limited mobility. I used travel chat gpt and it gave me this company as a recommendation. All the content on the internet and reviews gave me comfort that we were going to have something but a person never really knows. Our shuttle guy Mel contacted me in advance of our arrival. Gave me perfect directions and was timely. More on Mel later. We met Danny, our boat captain, at the dock who whisked us away to our fishing location. He made sure we caught fish! The time flew by. He worked so hard. When we returned we told Mel about wanting to see more of Ketchikan but couldn’t figure out how to make it happen. He made it happen! He gave us so many details about the town along with getting us to specific places in town where I found my favorite artists designs. I couldn’t thank him enough! We found the company and employees to be really hardworking folks knowing what they are doing and providing a high quality service. Our memories and experiences were awesome. Thank you so much!

Great Time Fishing In Ketchikan My wife, kids and I went out for a 6 hour salmon trip with Captain Hunter. Best captain in the 3 times we have gone to Alaska. Great with kids, easy going, incredibly knowledgeable of the are and had us catching fish the whole time. I know for many going to Alaska is all about the fish count. For us it is more about the experience and being on the water in such a beautiful place. We would have enjoyed this trip even if our fish count was not so high and that says a lot about the area and the Captain. Fishing gear was top of the line, boat was very nice, especially for the area with an indoor area to sit and then a large fishing platform. After we finished processing our catch was a breeze. They come right to the boat and take care of it from there. We now have a freezer full of fresh Alaskan Silver Salmon. We highly recommend this charter service. I know Hunter and the other captains of this group were also working as a team communicating with each-other over the radio trying to get everyone fish on all of their boats. So even if you don't get Captain Hunter, I am positive you will have a great day on the water from the Team Work I saw throughout the day.

Great Day!! We were very happy with 95% of our fishing adventure. The weather was perfection, the captain was great! The fish were not cooperating, but we thoroughly understand that is out of their hands. We caught 1 king that was too small to keep, and one beautiful Silver. There were no other bites, very disappointing for the money we paid. Because a previous charter did not want to keep their Pinks, they did offer us to keep them. We happily accepted that offer, and are awaiting our fish. We had a bonus of watching 10 whale breaches during our trip, so that was amazing!! we wouldn't hesitate to go with Oasis again. More

great experience spent 2 1/2 days fishing with Chris - the whole company is first rate - friendly, accommodating, very interested in providing a top notch experience; although we were scheduled for an 8 hour trip we actually fished for over 10 hours as there was no pressure to return at a certain time; willing to go wherever necessary to find fish - plan to go back next year and will definitely use these folks

Capt Murry Had two full days of fishing and it was everything we could hope for! Caught alot of fish and captain Murray was down to earth normal guy that really knows his stuff! Seen alot of beautiful country! Definately will go back again. Left our place in Iowa at 95 degrees and was in heaven when we got off the plane in that cool 60 degree Alaska weather!!

Awesome Salmon fishing trip The trip was awesome! We were on the Salmon in about 15 minutes after we start trolling. The Captain really knew what he was doing. I can’t wait to come back and I will definitely use Oasis!

Alaska Fishing Success! Our family traveled to Alaska by cruise ship and booked our excursion with Oasis independently. I called for a taxi from Sourdough before we got off the ship as instructed, but the cab company told us to call after disembarking. We had to wait about 20 minutes before the cab came. The fare was $35 each way plus tip (cab was not equipped to accept credit cards so be sure to bring cash.) We got to the Clover Pass Resort where we purchased our fishing licenses (anyone over 14 years is required to purchase a license and must show identification). Credit cards are accepted for fishing license purchase. We met our captain who took us to the boat. I thought there would be a bathroom on the boat but I didn't see one. The captain told us that it wasn't his usual boat. Our captain worked very hard to find fish and we caught 12 salmon! Sometimes there was activity on multiple poles at the same time which was a good problem to have but it appeared like the captain could have used a first mate because he seemed to be overwhelmed when things got busy. We returned to the dock and arranged to have our salmon processed and shipped back home. Our cab driver was waiting for us at Clover Pass at the agreed upon time and we got back to our cruise ship in plenty of time. The next week our Alaskan salmon arrived at our home and it was the best (and most expensive, but we chose to have it shipped home!) salmon we ever had. We had a very memorable fishing experience with Oasis Alaska Charters!

Great trip again This was our second time fishing with Oasis. It was probably the worst fishing that I have experienced in Alaska, but it definitely was no fault of Oasis or Capt. Chris.
The weather just turned bad and the seas were pretty rough.
Chris tried hard to get us on some good fishing. I think he really went overboard to try and get us lots of fish, but it just wasn't the day for it.
We brought fish home, but not near as much as usual or as we would have liked, but it was still a great and fun adventure.
Id recommend Oasis to anyone.

My best charter in Ketchikan Absolutely wonderful charter with oasis. We had captain Murray for two long range fishing trips, he was patient and funny and worked his ass off to get us on fish. I've used several different charters in prior years but oasis was a family affair and you felt it. Mark and JoAnn are wonderful people who will go out of their way to make sure you have a great time, DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK WITH OASIS.

Charter fishing trip Captain Murray besides being an outstanding captain and "fish getter" was a hoot, He provided a very safe and friendly experience. He put us on the fish and never stopped looking for bigger and better fish. The boat was very comfortable and was set up well for fishing with four people. Captain Ron, you rock!

Great experience. Highlight of our Alaska trip. Incredible experience from start to finish. Joane met us at the port and was so patient when we had to tender from our cruise ship and were delayed. She kept in touch and updated.

Once we arrived at the marina we met Captain Hunter, and we were off. The boat was comfortable and well equipped. Hunter explained what we were going to be doing and took us to our fishing spot.

Al 5 of us had the opportunity to catch fish and we hooked several including 2 large King Salmon. It was a highlight of our Alaska trip and all due to the hospitality and expertise of Hunter and their team.

When we got back we were met at the dock by the processors and look forward to receiving our salmon this week.

A great decision! This was our first cruise and our first visit to Alaska, but not our first fishing charter so it didn’t take much convincing to book through a local charter versus through the cruise ship. Although we only caught a few fish, it was a great experience. Our captain, Thomas, was very nice and knowledgeable. He told us all about the history, geography, and wildlife of the area as well as his experiences. I am glad we booked with Oasis! I would definitely use them again.

Fabulous Fishing Trip We went out on Reel Therapy for 2 full days of fishing with Captain Murray just a week ago. We had an absolutely amazing time! Cpt. Murray was very knowledgeable, personable and a good instructor. We couldn't have had more fun and we caught over 200lbs of fish between the 4 of us. Thanks for a fantastic time!

Super nice guide but he gave my fish to his buddy Because it was too big for us to keep?? Also plan on an extra $80 for the cab ride and try to get into the open ocean, those boats caught way more fish than us.

Not to be missed. This really was an excellent experience - in my mind one of the highlights of my entire Alaska experience. Captain Murray was top notch - would definitely recommend.

One of the best guided fishing trips ever I have lived and fished in Alaska for 60 years--usually on my own boat. This was perhaps the best guided fishing I have ever had. Excellent Captain, great boat and fine support staff. Oasis went out of their way to make the trip superb.

You've Got Plenty of Time to Book Oasis During a Shore Excursion! We booked with Oasis instead of doing the fishing shore excursion through the cruise line (Norwegian). We thought it would be a bit more hassle because of having to call for a taxi, but really, it all went so smoothly and gave even more business to locals. In fact, talking to the taxi driver likely gave us more of a glimpse into Alaskan life than we ever would have doing the ship's shore excursion. We also had plenty of time to get to Oasis and back.Fun fishing! We were upriver from the cruise line charters, and we had the river to ourselves - and the boat, as no one joined our family of four. Bald eagles watched us from the treetops and tried to steal our fish when they saw them on line! We were a bit early for the salmon run so we didn't catch any kings, but we caught 2 chums and 3 rock fish. They cleaned them right on the dock and we had them shipped to my husband's dad for Father's Day (health wouldn't permit him to come on the cruise). Everything arrived in good order.The people at Oasis were great. The office and docks were staffed by clean-cut, polite Latter-day Saint kids up from Utah doing "mission service." The captain was young and friendly, living, as he said, "a working vacation."We originally booked through Oasis to save a few bucks. In the end, we would have paid a few bucks extra for the adventure and privacy that booking through Oasis provided. Go for it!!

Alaska at it's best The hospitality that was shown to our group the two days we were fishing was amazing. The whole Oasis staff was extremely catering and helpful to our group. From the time we arrived until we had to leave, great lengths were taken to ensure our time was nothing short of the best. Shout out to Capt Chris and Capt Murray. If you're gonna go, request one of those guys!!

Murray, Steve, Humpbacks Oh My! We spent 5 hours fishing with Murray, our guide. He knew the the area well, was in tune with other fisherman, and the tides. We hit our limit on halibut, got a King Salmon, and a few other variety of fish. We even got to meet "Steve" the Bald Eagle that ate fish literally thrown from Murray's hand. Plus, we saw a humpback whale just as we were leaving the marina. The transfer to and from the port was easy, and they were very conscientious of our cruising times. I was worried about booking outside the ship. No need to worry! When we arrived back to the marina, the staff that cleaned and shipped the fish were efficient and amazing!

This exceeded our expectations. If we go back, they will be the first people we call!

Taxi ride was easy, and the whole outfit was the epitome of professionalism. Captain Logan was excellent. We caught at least 18 good size salmon. I would book this trip again in a heartbeat.

Good captain I am kind of hesitant to write a review. The captain was good and the boats are great and the gear is fine. I understand that some days the fishing is not fantastic and weather can play a part that is out of control. It was a windy day so they couldn’t take us out to the halibut grounds they wanted to so we fished for them in an area our captain said he hadn’t finished before. The fishing was slow so it ended up being a $1200 boat ride for a 7 lb halibut. I kinda wish they had canceled our trip if the weather is such that they can’t get you to productive water. The captain did his best but I do wish they had been more realistic about what to expect and canceled our trip.

GREAT Experience We had an amazing time with our Captain Murray! The salmon were a little slow but we did catch a few Kings, a yellow eyed rockfish and a number of rockfish. The overall experience was awesome! We had a great time and even got to see humpback whales. We would definitely book with them again.

Way more than just a fishing trip! I'll make this short so it's quick and easy to read. Oasis made our trip easy by answering all our questions about directions, fishing license, etc. Our boat captain, Mike, was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, safe and most important, (b/c fishing is the point of the trip), he made sure we got to catch fish. They warned us that June was the slower of the summer fishing months, but he genuinely wanted us to catch as much as possible and he changed course, he changed bait, if we were in a slow spot, he'd motor somewhere else. We ended up catching halibut, salmon, cod and a rockfish. We signed up for the halibut and salmon 6 hour trip. We were a group of 4 and only 1 of us had fishing experience. It was perfect and we will definitely go back next year.

Customer event We have for the past few years worked with Oasis for our Alaska customer fishing trip. Mark, Joanne and their boat captains have been wonderful for us and have accommodated all of our requests. The fishing was wonderful again and our freezers are all full of Salmon, Halibut and Yellow Eye. We'll definitely be back!

Breathtaking Views and a Great Captain Really nice charter trip for our family. Our boat captain, Hunter, was very knowledgeable and did a great job. While we didn't catch a lot of fish, we had a wonderful time and the scenery was breathtaking. We would definitely do this again.

My 4 hr salmon charter Traveled to Alaska on the NCL Bliss. This was my wife’s dream cruise. Several weeks before I decided to try fishing while in Ketchikan. Knowing full well that our time was limited, I choose Oasis both on reviews and the ability to do a 4 hour trip and still have an hour to spend in town. Captain Des and his first mate proved to be the perfect match. Hearing that the prior few days were slim pickings did not diminish my excitement for the trip. I wanted the experience of a cruising on a small boat and chasing salmon and Capt Des did not disappoint. Headed out to one of his favorite spots fished about a half hour with one or two bites. Not satisfied pulled anchor and went for about 20 minutes. That’s where I caught my first coho.He was excited as I was. Dropped line and said to me “you need at least 2 “ I told him wanted to have my family In for a salmon dinner fresh caught. About 30 minutes before having to return, I got my second coho. The reviews are totally correct, these guys work hard to get fish for their clients . While there are no guarantees in fishing it’s not from their lack of trying . In many cases it is a once in a life time trip. And thanks to first mate Alexis, she did the video of my catching both coho’s and captured some beautiful scenery as wellIn closing I highly recommend these folks. September Silvers are Fantastic! From my reservation to packing out the fish, Oasis Charters had excellent organisation, responsiveness and efficiency. We chartered two boats for 9 people to go after the September Silvers (Coho Salmon). The fishing was slow for about an hour, but after Capt. Murry found the fish he kept us ON the fish! Before it was all over we had each caught 2 fish in the 10-12 lbs. range. Really gotta hand it to Capt. Murry for finding the fish, helping us wrestle them into the cold box and maximizing our time on the water. Fish ON!

Awesome, Excellent, Fantastic and Action Packed! This was my first time in Alaska and my first time Salmon and Halibut fishing from a boat. I learned a lot very quickly with the help and patience of Captain Murray. I don't have anything else to go off of, but we were the only ones rolling in with full limits. Captain Murray and the well equipped boat, the "Reel Therapy", was the perfect combo. Captain Murray kept in contact with other guides and was always actively looking for the "hot spot". Words can't explain the excitement when the four of us in the group all had salmon on at the same time on two different occasions and we landed them all. Captain Murray was working hard netting all the salmon and sometimes netting two at the same time, incredible! You will not be disappointed with Oasis, they are proactive, work hard and have excellent gear. Thanks for the great experience and we will be back.

Great Experience Went on a 4 hour salmon charter with Captain Chris, and have no complaints. Chris kept us busy bringing in Salmon, and was very good with our 10 and 13 year old. He showed them how to set the lines so they could do it and we were off and reeling in the salmon.

Awesome family experiance Our family had 9 total on the boats, each guide was amazing and made a memory of a lifetime for our family. It was a blessing, and a blast. We caught so many fish, the shipping was easy and painless, the fish was great beer battered and fried next we are trying fish tacos with the halibut. Fishing in AK The boat was a disappointment for sure. We are in the boat for four hours watching our captain setup the fishing rods and then us waiting for a bite with no place to sit down. There were four of us fishing for $810.00. The seas were very rough so we were continually knocked around. We are all in our late sixties and seventies. My husband was thrown and was bruised the next day. We did catch three salmon and one halibut (that was too long so was released).

Excellent Halibut and Sea Bass Fishing in Ketchikan My husband, father in law, and I booked a 4 hour Halibut tour outside of our cruise ship- We were in port from 1230p-730p and wanted a more personalized experience rather then going through the cruise line. I am SO GLAD THAT WE DID because we had a great day and ended up with a nice catch of fish! This operation offered transportation from the cruise ship to the marina. As we were getting off the ship, Mark, called us and said he was in the parking lot waiting for us. It was about a 20 minute drive to the marina where we met our captain Hunter. The boat was in excellent condition and managed the sea’s well. It was overcast/rainy (typical for Ketchikan) but also a little breezy. Hunter and Mark had told us that they were concerned with the weather report and we would have to “play it by ear” if it got to rough. Thankfully, it did not get to rough and we were able to spend a lot of time out on the water. It took a little while for the Halibut to turn on as the tide was not moving in the right direction, but when it did, we quickly caught our limit! One Halibut was 35 inches, which is big considering we couldn’t keep it if it was over 40 inches, so we were thrilled!After we caught our limit, Hunter gave us the option to do some Salmon fishing or do some bottom fishing for cod/sea bass. Since we wanted table fare, we opted for the bottom fishing- it was not Salmon season yet. Hunter ran for about 20 minutes to get us to a more protected area (the wind was starting to pick up a bit and we needed calm waters to jig). No sooner then we got to this new area, he saw fish on the meter, told us what to do, and boom we started catching sea bass. Unfortunately we did not catch any cod, but we did limit out on sea bass. During this time there was a bald eagle flying around and doing his own fishing which allowed me to capture some amazing photos. We also saw Orca’s and sea lions. Overall this trip was amazing. We ended up with 3 Halibut, 1 pacific cod, and 15 sea bass. When we got back to the marina, the dock guys met us, took the fish, cleaned them up for pictures, and then filleted and packaged the fish for shipping. Now that we are back home (in Maryland) we should be getting the fish this week. We are so excited!I highly recommend this company and this tour. It was excellent and we had a great time. While we had a great day, remember, its called fishing, not catching…. Although I am confident Hunter will do anything in his power to put you on the fish 🙂

Great day fishing Ketchikan! Chris was our guide and captain! Seas were big so he worked hard to put us on the fish in some calmer waters so we could enjoy our time on the boat! He did a great job on our 4 hr charter helping each of us boat fish while talking about the local area. We saw whales close to the boat on several occasions adding to our adventure. The marina location put us on the fishing spots quickly and gave us options to duck out of the swell on the lea side of several islands. Great trip!

If you are going fishing, choose no other outfitter! I can't say enough about our experience. From the time we booked the reservation, to giving high fives on the boat, it was perfect. The communication was great from the start and if you follow the directions, it is such a smooth process. The ride up to the harbor was beautiful and worth the taxi fare to get away from the ships. Our captain was awesome and put us on fish in the first 30 minutes. I can't promise you will have the same luck, but I assure you will work their butts off for you. Book this charter, you will not be disappointed.

Salmon fishing at its best Our group of 5 had a great experience. After a short taxi from the cruise ship we were greeted as soon as we arrived and within minutes were fishing. Our Guide could not have been any better. She was a pleasure to spend time with and also put us on the fish! We would highly recommend. Picked us up at ship, delivered to boat, fished, then back to ship. Great time. Good trip. Captain Murray was great and within 10 minutes, we were hauling in Salmon. We limited out before end of time and Murray spent extra time trying something else. Ages were 70, 68, 52, 40 and 12.

Personable, experienced captain! Had a great time with a guide who worked hard to get us our fish! We learned a lot of good tricks and places to go on our own next time!

Best Fishing Trip Ever I'm the President of Purple Heart Anglers a 501c3 non-profit. We take Disabled Veterans fishing and hunting. This was our 9th year with Oasis Alaska Charters, and we are already booked for 2023. The whole thing was excellent. From the beginning to the end. We had 12 people this year and plan on 12 for next year. The captains were knowledgeable, accommodating to our Disabled Veterans needs and made sure everybody had the "Trip of a Lifetime" we said it would be.
Cannot thank them all enough for a great fishing experience.

Memorable and great fun From start to finish, this was a wonderful, fun and memorable experience.
We were collected from where the cruise ship docked, and driven the roughly half hour to the fishing pier. Here we met our captain for the trip (Danny)
He showed us all the equipment, baited and set the rods and helped us every step of the way. We had a great time fighting with the Halibut, and some sharks!
We even saw a pod of Orcas in the nearby waters.
4 hours on the water, left us with 4 Halibut (our limit of one each) we threw back a 5th and 5 sharks, which we also released.
Beautiful weather was on our side, and the majestic scenery was amazing.
I thoroughly recommend this tour, it was awesome, and thank you to everyone who made it so special.
We left our catch to be filleted, frozen and shipped via FedEx, which cost around $220. When you consider that this yielded about 12.5 lbs. of Halibut fillet, that's a great deal in any language, shipped to my door on ice in Styrofoam in Minnesota. when we returned home several days later. We ended the trip by being driven back to town to do some shopping.

6 hr Halibut and Salmon fishing My wife and I had an excellent trip weather was very nice. The fishing was okay but our captain Micheal from florida did everything to put us on fish.

September Chartered Fishing Trip Very professional and friendly fishing service. Very knowledgeable about the area and where to actually locate the fishing grounds and not just go with the masses. Better success than any other people on our cruise ship.

Had A Great Time! My wife, daughter and myself booked a trip this last August with Oasis Alaska and had Murray as our Captain... we had a great trip... Being from the Puget Sound area I know the effects El Nino has had on the salmon... amongst other things. With that said, we had a great time visiting with Murray (very cool knowledgeable guy with some awesome experience on the water), enjoying the scenery, and yes catching some salmon! Heck, even if we had gotten skunked it would have been a great day... that's why they call it "fishing"... not "catching". You guys are awesome, we will be back! Highly reccommended!!!

4 Hour Charter off cruise ship on Late August 2018 Although we did not catch anything huge, everyone caught at least one keeper and all had a great time on the charter. Captain Murray was professional, knowledgeable, cheerful, and his boat was more than well maintained, equipped, comfortable, and stocked. We all felt welcome on his boat, and recognized during the charter his efforts to make our brief time on the water as memorable as possible.

Amazing three days! What a terrific 3 days with Capt Murray. Everyday was perfect weather and superb fishing. In three days we caught 109 Salmon, 50 Sea Bass, 9 Halibut and 8 Ling Cods....and that's just the stuff we didn't throw back. Murray is like the fish whisperer, unbelievably talented and so laid back, he just lets people enjoy the whole experience. We basically saw all of the wildlife Alaska has to offer from the boat.

Water was calm, processing and packaging was effortless and JoAnn and Mark are great hosts. Next time we come back we are doing nothing else but hanging out with these folks. Best money spent on our whole trip.

Excellent Halibut and Sea Bass Fishing in Ketchikan My husband, father in law, and I booked a 4 hour Halibut tour outside of our cruise ship- We were in port from 1230p-730p and wanted a more personalized experience rather then going through the cruise line. I am SO GLAD THAT WE DID because we had a great day and ended up with a nice catch of fish!

This operation offered transportation from the cruise ship to the marina. As we were getting off the ship, Mark, called us and said he was in the parking lot waiting for us. It was about a 20 minute drive to the marina where we met our captain Hunter. The boat was in excellent condition and managed the sea’s well. It was overcast/rainy (typical for Ketchikan) but also a little breezy. Hunter and Mark had told us that they were concerned with the weather report and we would have to “play it by ear” if it got to rough. Thankfully, it did not get to rough and we were able to spend a lot of time out on the water.

It took a little while for the Halibut to turn on as the tide was not moving in the right direction, but when it did, we quickly caught our limit! One Halibut was 35 inches, which is big considering we couldn’t keep it if it was over 40 inches, so we were thrilled!

After we caught our limit, Hunter gave us the option to do some Salmon fishing or do some bottom fishing for cod/sea bass. Since we wanted table fare, we opted for the bottom fishing- it was not Salmon season yet. Hunter ran for about 20 minutes to get us to a more protected area (the wind was starting to pick up a bit and we needed calm waters to jig). No sooner then we got to this new area, he saw fish on the meter, told us what to do, and boom we started catching sea bass. Unfortunately we did not catch any cod, but we did limit out on sea bass. During this time there was a bald eagle flying around and doing his own fishing which allowed me to capture some amazing photos. We also saw Orca’s and sea lions.

Overall this trip was amazing. We ended up with 3 Halibut, 1 pacific cod, and 15 sea bass. When we got back to the marina, the dock guys met us, took the fish, cleaned them up for pictures, and then filleted and packaged the fish for shipping. Now that we are back home (in Maryland) we should be getting the fish this week. We are so excited!

I highly recommend this company and this tour. It was excellent and we had a great time. While we had a great day, remember, its called fishing, not catching…. Although I am confident Hunter will do anything in his power to put you on the fish 🙂

Ketchikan Salmon FIshing was Outstanding! Fishing in Ketchikan was by far our favorite Alaskan experience. Our guide Murray was fantastic. He was personable and knowledgeable. He made our experience authentic and fun. Hand down 5 star service from start to finish.

Halibut fishing charter We were extremely pleased with the whole experience. Captain Logan was very accommodating, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to give the 4 of us a very wonderful trip. We caught 2 Halibuts that were of the keep able size. He took us out to deeper water, where we landed a100lb halibut that we were required to release. It was really a lot of fun brining in a large halibut from a depth of 500ft. I think letting people know in advance of booking a halibut charter, that they will not be able to keep a larger halibut would be a better policy. You did a great job!Thank youBob Dersé

Amazing!! Our guide and master fisherman worked tirelessly to get us a Halibut. Amazing experience. The owner was super nice to arrange a taxi on the way back to our cruise. She waited with us until the taxi driver reached as we were getting late. She was ready to drop us to the cruise in her own car in case taxi doesn’t pick us on time. Super nice.

Hands Down, the Best! Oasis and Captain Hunter were indescribably great. Oasis was upfront and extremely helpful with our group. This was our first time on a charter so talking with them ahead of time I had so many questions I was annoying myself. The Oasis team never even sounded a little irritated. They took everything in stride and seemed eager and excited to help even when we needed to add another person at the last minute.

As far as Captain Hunter, I can't say enough. We were all extremely new at fishing. 3/5 of us a had never fished at all and the other two only here and there on lakes. He talked us through everything and ran himself ragged helping out at every opportunity. You could see other boats from different companies out there and no one was working close to as hard as he ways helping us out. I have no doubt that he is adaptable to any skill level and would be awesome for seasoned fishers as well. He talked to us about our options, gave us his professional recommendations, and was insanely friendly the whole trip. He was never pushy or seemed in a hurry to to get us out of there and managed to get us on more fish than we could ever catch. None of us would have thought we would limit out on everything, but we did! We understand that it doesn't always go that way, but it was great knowing he was going to do everything in his power to get us there.

Even the crew at the dock at the end were extremely friendly and helpful getting our fished processed and explaining our options for getting them home.

I can't imagine I will ever go on another charter that was better than this entire team provided. If I am ever back that way I know the only company I will book with.

You will enjoy your tour with Oasis! Joanne picked us up right on time and she was so nice and told us a lot about Ketchikan. Schuyler was our fishing guide and he taught us a lot about fishing g for salmon. He was great! Caught a couple of king salmon and saw whales, seals, and bald eagles!

Private Fishing Charter My husband and I went out with Chris and had a great time. Everything from the booking process, communication before the trip, the fishing trip went smoothly. Our captain Chris was wonderful! We caught some halibut and rock fish and sent them home. They gave us the name of a local taxi company to call to pick us up from the pier and the cab driver came and picked us back up. All in all a wonderful experience. So much better than being cattle herded by the cruise line and on a fishing boat with 6 other people.

Amazing fishing We booked independently from our cruise ship and had the best time. Many on ship were very dissatisfied with their experience through the cruise line. Logan, our Captain was great and knew his job well. We got our limit in two hours of halibut and then had the bonus of salmon fishing. We would like to go back and just experience Clover Pass in Ketchikan. If the charter had gone differently and we were unable to catch fish, we would have still had a blast due to the down to Earth and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Excellent fishing trip! My husband and I, my brother in law and his wife chartered a boat with oasis to catch some king salmon and halibut. We went out with Captain Murray. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a fun and fruitful fishing trip. I’ve never caught a salmon that big before! He knows what he’s doing. We really appreciate it!

Great Fishing company We had the best day with oasis charters. Their communication was top notch. We were concerned that we wouldnt have enough time to fish and get back to boat. We did a private tour and they told us they will make it work. The pick up at our boat was easy. Our shuttle driver Tammy was so sweet and told us all about Ketchikan. Our captain was Danny. We had the best time either way him. We give him 5 stars. (Told you Danny). He brought us to a great spot. We got lucky and hit a halibut with first drop. Met our quota and then trolled for Salmon. He made it very easy and helped us have a great day. We got lucky and had only one of the few sunny days. Easy to have fish sent home. Fulfilled my wifes bucket list to fish in Alaska. You cant go wrong with Oasis.

Great Experience for Grandsons Seeing my 12-yr. old twin grandsons faces as they hauled in their salmon is one of the great experiences of my life. Can’t say enough good things about our guide, Marie, and her skill in handling boat and equipment on a very windy day.

Amazing Fishing Trip - Highly recommend - Would definitely book again!!! Hunter (The Predator) was awesome. We caught more salmon than we could have imagined. Can't wait for the salmon to arrive so that we can enjoy it. Our two grandson's and son in law talked about what a great time they had every day during the remainder of the trip. My husband, who could not fish, could not say enough about the experience. We highly recommend this charter. It definitely surpassed any expectations we had.

Last trip of the season 092316 Expected the fishing to be slower this late in the season and only fishing about 4 hours because have to get back to the cruise ship. Fishing was awsome, only went 1/4 mile from slip and only covered one small area which we shared with whales and bald eagles the whole time. We caught 5 fish and had many more bites. If that is slow I will take it any day. We told the lady cab driver we would get her a filet and we did-she was really happy. We didn't ship any fish because would have to have lots more meat to make it worth while. Our captain Mark really knows the fishery up there. I am going to do a full day and target Halibut with him on our next charter. I have my own boat in San Diego and have been fishing bluefin tuna all summer and this was a great change of pace. Best part was I didn't have to clean the boat when we got back to the dock.

Great fishing adventure What a great fishing trip. This was a trip with myself and 3 adult children. This is something we have been trying to plan for years. Captain Murray was absolutely amazing. Really was a trip of a lifetime.
